At the core of our brand is a dedication to preserving the beauty of our planet. Perfume is a way of connecting with the world around us and that relationship is honoured at To The Fairest. Our products are cruelty free and our recyclable packaging is made using materials certified by the FSC. We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our business and make sure that our supply chain is transparent, ethical and derived from sustainable sources wherever possible.
Perfume represents a moment of unhurried contemplation. Not only was the idea of launching a fully-formed wardrobe of scents unrealistic in terms of financing, it also seemed an outdated system of production. Consumer choice – particularly in the beauty industry – can feel overwhelming, and we were not prepared to add to the abundance of new launches without a meaningful offering.
With this in mind, To The Fairest creates standalone scents introduced one at a time, in limited quantities. Perfume lovers are hard-wired for deferred gratification – it is part and parcel of the olfactory experience! This knowledge gave us the confidence to place long-term objectives and gradual growth at the heart of the business.
It was important for us to develop a range of fragrances that had purpose: complex and sophisticated scents that aligned with a social conscience. In 2019, To The Fairest was the lead sponsor for the Thrive mindfulness garden at RHS Chatsworth, promoting the healing power of nature. During Covid-19, To The Fairest allocated its sponsorship budget to Head to Toe, a charity working with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust that supports people of all ages receiving mental health, community and social care.
